What is it used for?
Used mainly to treat acidity, heartburn and acid reflux (GERD). It may also help relieve associated nausea, vomiting or uncomfortable stomach fullness when prescribed.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the stomach and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor and follow the product label. Swallow the capsule or tablet whole; do not crush or chew it. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, dry mouth and dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, or abnormal blood salt levels. Domperidone can affect heart rhythm and may interact with some medicines, so disclose all medicines being taken. Seek medical advice for black stools, vomiting blood, difficulty swallowing, unexplained weight loss or persistent symptoms. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
