What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of cough, including cough associated with a cold. It may help soothe throat irritation and loosen mucus.

How does it work?
Diphenhydramine helps reduce cough and allergy-related symptoms, while ammonium chloride and sodium citrate help loosen and clear mucus. Menthol provides a cooling, soothing effect in the throat.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a doctor or pharmacist. Measure the liquid with the supplied measuring device and do not exceed the recommended amount. Do not use for longer than advised if the cough does not improve.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, thickened mucus, nausea or stomach discomfort.
