What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of cough, blocked or stuffy nose, runny nose and sneezing associated with the common cold or allergies.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine helps reduce allergy symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing, while phenylephrine helps relieve nasal congestion.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Do not take more than the recommended amount. Use a measuring device for liquid products, if applicable.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, nervousness, difficulty sleeping, or a fast heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Ask a healthcare professional before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, thyroid disease, prostate or urinary problems, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) medicines or within 14 days of stopping them. Seek medical advice for breathing difficulty, severe palpitations, or a cough lasting more than a few days.
