What is it used for?
Povidone iodine solution is a topical antiseptic used to clean minor cuts, grazes, burns and other minor skin wounds, helping reduce germs and the risk of infection.

How does it work?
It slowly releases iodine, which destroys many types of bacteria, viruses and fungi on the skin.

How to take/use it
For external use only. Clean the affected area and apply the solution as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Do not swallow or use in the eyes, mouth or other internal areas unless specifically directed. Wash hands after use.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, dryness or itching may occur. Stop using it and seek medical help if severe irritation, swelling or difficulty breathing develops.

Precautions
