What is it used for?
First aid plasters are used to cover and protect minor cuts, grazes, small wounds and blisters from dirt and friction.
How does it work?
It forms a protective covering over the affected area, helping keep the wound clean and protected while it heals.
How to take/use it
Clean and gently dry the affected area. Apply the plaster so the dressing covers the wound, without touching the adhesive or dressing surface. Replace it if it becomes wet, dirty or loose.
Common side effects
Skin irritation, redness, itching or an allergic reaction to the adhesive may occur.
Precautions
Use only on clean, minor wounds. Do not apply to deep, heavily bleeding or severely infected wounds. Seek medical attention if bleeding does not stop, the wound is large or deep, or signs of infection such as increasing redness, swelling, pus or worsening pain develop. Stop using it if significant skin irritation occurs.
