What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of pain and inflammation, especially in muscle, joint and arthritis-related conditions. It may also be prescribed for other painful conditions.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain, swelling and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever through a different action.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by a doctor. Take with or after food and swallow with water. Do not take it with other medicines containing diclofenac, paracetamol or other NSAID painkillers unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Indigestion, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn, dizziness or headache.

Precautions
Avoid or seek medical advice before use if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, asthma triggered by painkillers, or allergy to diclofenac, paracetamol or other NSAIDs. Avoid excessive alcohol. Do not use during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless specifically advised. Seek urgent help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin rash, breathing difficulty, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or unusual swelling.
