Composition:\
Vildagliptin 50 mg.

Uses:\
Used to help control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with a healthy diet and regular exercise. It may be used alone or with other diabetes medicines as prescribed by a doctor.

How to Use:\
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet with water. Take it at the same time each day. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, pancreatitis, or heart failure. Your doctor may recommend liver-function tests before and during treatment. Low blood sugar is more likely when vildagliptin is used with insulin or certain other diabetes medicines. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent abdominal pain, especially if it spreads to the back.

Possible Side Effects:\
Common side effects include dizziness, headache, nausea, constipation, and tremor. Low blood sugar may occur when used with other medicines that lower blood sugar. Rarely, pancreatitis, liver problems, or serious allergic reactions may occur. Seek immediate medical attention for severe abdominal pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:\
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking vildagliptin. Your doctor will determine whether this medicine is appropriate for you.

Storage:\
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information:\
Take vildagliptin regularly as prescribed and monitor your blood sugar as advised. Attend recommended liver-function and other medical checks. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose; do not take a double dose. Continue your recommended diet, exercise, and other diabetes treatment as advised by your doctor.
