What is it used for?
This combination is used for temporary relief of common cold and upper respiratory symptoms such as cough with mucus, blocked or runny nose, sneezing, fever and body aches. It helps relieve symptoms but does not cure the underlying infection.

How does it work?
Paracetamol reduces fever and pain. Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal blockage, while cetirizine helps relieve allergy-related sneezing and runny nose. Guaifenesin helps loosen mucus, and ambroxol helps make phlegm thinner and easier to clear.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed on the product label or by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended amount or use it for longer than advised. Do not combine it with other medicines containing paracetamol or cough-and-cold ingredients unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, stomach upset, headache or restlessness may occur. Phenylephrine may rarely cause a fast heartbeat or increased blood pressure.

Precautions
Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy, and avoid alcohol. Ask a doctor before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, liver disease, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or prostate problems. Seek medical advice before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor if symptoms are severe, worsen, last longer than expected, or breathing difficulty occurs.
