What is it used for?
Used to treat acidity, heartburn and acid reflux, especially when these symptoms are associated with nausea, vomiting or delayed stomach emptying.

How does it work?
Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the stomach and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, usually before food. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew the pellets. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, dry mouth and dizziness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver disease, heart disease, an irregular heartbeat, or a history of fainting. Avoid taking it with medicines that can affect heart rhythm unless specifically advised.
