What is it used for?
This medicine is used to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding, including excessive bleeding during periods. It should be used for abnormal or unexplained bleeding only after medical advice.

Tranexamic acid helps prevent the breakdown of blood clots, while etamsylate helps reduce bleeding from small blood vessels and supports clot formation.

How to take/use it

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness, or skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any history of blood clots, stroke, clotting problems, kidney disease, vision problems, or allergy to these medicines. Seek urgent medical help for chest pain, sudden breathlessness, leg swelling or pain, or sudden changes in vision. Medical advice is especially important if using combined hormonal contraceptives or if the bleeding is unexplained.
