Topinova Cream (24X1X10 Gm) Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% W/W, Miconazole Nitrate 2% W/W, Neomycin 0.5% W/W Cream By Zuventus

What is it used for?
This cream is used for certain inflamed skin infections involving fungi, sometimes with a suspected bacterial infection. It should be used only when prescribed or recommended by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Miconazole stops the growth of fungi, while neomycin acts against some bacteria. Clobetasol is a strong corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin exactly as directed by the doctor or product label. Wash hands before and after use, unless the hands are being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not cover the area tightly unless advised.

Common side effects
Burning, stinging, irritation, dryness or redness at the application site. Prolonged or improper use may cause skin thinning, stretch marks or changes in skin colour. Neomycin may cause an allergic skin reaction.

Precautions
Clobetasol is a strong steroid; do not use it on large areas, the face, skin folds, groin or broken skin unless specifically advised. Do not use for longer than recommended. Avoid self-treatment of viral skin infections or undiagnosed rashes. Consult a doctor before use in children, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Stop use and seek medical advice if the infection worsens, spreads, or severe irritation or swelling occurs.
