What is it used for?
Used on the skin to help reduce swelling, discomfort and bruising associated with superficial vein problems, bruises, haematomas and minor soft-tissue injuries.

How does it work?
Heparin sodium helps reduce the formation of small clots and supports the clearance of local blood collections under the skin. Benzyl nicotinate increases local blood flow, which may help relieve swelling and discomfort.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Use only on intact skin. Wash hands after application and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes.

Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, itching or rash at the application site. Stop use if a severe allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions
Do not apply to open wounds, infected skin or bleeding areas. Avoid use if allergic to heparin or any ingredient. Seek medical advice before use if there is a bleeding disorder, low platelet count or treatment with blood-thinning medicines. Sudden or severe limb swelling, pain, warmth or breathlessness requires urgent medical attention.
