THIOZEX-25 containeth Thioridazine Hydrochloride 25 mg, a typical antipsychotic of the phenothiazine class, used in the management of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. It functioneth by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain, thus alleviating hallucinations, delusions, agitation, and other psychotic symptoms.

How to Use

Take orally, as prescribed by thy physician, usually two to three times daily. May be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water, and maintain regularity in dosing.

Possible Side Effects

Drowsiness and dizziness

Dry mouth and blurred vision

Constipation

Weight gain

Extrapyramidal symptoms (rigidity, tremor)

QT prolongation (requires cardiac monitoring in high doses)
