Composition:\
Terbinafine Hydrochloride 250 mg.
Uses:\
Used to treat fungal infections of the skin, scalp, and nails, including fungal nail infections (onychomycosis), when oral treatment is appropriate.
How to Use:\
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Complete the prescribed course, even if symptoms improve earlier. Do not stop treatment without medical advice.
Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease or a history of liver problems. Your doctor may check liver function before and during treatment. Stop taking the medicine and seek medical advice if you develop persistent nausea, loss of appetite, unusual tiredness, upper abdominal pain, dark urine, pale stools, or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Tell your doctor about all medicines you take, as terbinafine can interact with some medicines.
Possible Side Effects:\
Common side effects include headache, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, indigestion, and skin rash. Taste or smell disturbances and changes in liver function may occur. Seek immediate medical attention for severe skin reactions, swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, or symptoms suggesting liver problems.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:\
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking terbinafine. Terbinafine passes into breast milk, so your doctor will determine whether treatment is appropriate during breastfeeding.
Storage:\
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
Important Safety Information:\
Take terbinafine only for the condition and duration prescribed. Oral terbinafine requires medical supervision because it can rarely cause serious liver injury. Inform your doctor if you develop persistent taste or smell changes, as these can occasionally be prolonged. Do not share this medicine with others.
