Composition:\
Telmisartan 40 mg.

Uses:\
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may also be prescribed to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in certain high-risk patients. It works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and lowering blood pressure.

How to Use:\
Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably at the same time each day. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.

Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, low blood pressure, dehydration, or high potassium levels. Inform your doctor if you take potassium supplements, potassium-containing salt substitutes, or medicines that may increase potassium levels. Telmisartan may cause dizziness, particularly when starting treatment or if you are dehydrated. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function and blood potassium levels.

Possible Side Effects:\
Common side effects include dizziness, headache, tiredness, low blood pressure, and stomach discomfort. Seek immediate medical attention for severe dizziness or fainting, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or signs of a serious allergic reaction.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:\
Do not use telmisartan during pregnancy because it can harm the developing baby. If you become pregnant while taking it, contact your doctor immediately. Consult your doctor before using telmisartan while breastfeeding.

Storage:\
Store at room temperature in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the medicine in its original packaging and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information:\
Take telmisartan regularly as prescribed and monitor your blood pressure as advised. Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes unless recommended by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it when remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose; do not take a double dose.
