Telmifit AM (5x3x10) Telmisartan 40mg + Amlodinoine 5mg by Csc

What is it used for?
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may be prescribed when one medicine alone does not control blood pressure adequately.

How does it work?
Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a hormone that causes blood vessels to tighten. Amlodipine also relaxes and widens blood vessels, helping blood flow more easily and lowering blood pressure.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, and swallow with water. It may be taken with or without food. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, headache, flushing, tiredness, ankle or leg swelling, palpitations, and low blood pressure may occur.

Precautions
May cause dizziness, especially when starting treatment or standing up quickly. Inform the doctor about kidney or liver problems, dehydration, heart problems, or high potassium levels. Avoid potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes unless advised. Do not use during pregnancy; inform the doctor immediately if pregnancy occurs. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, especially blood-pressure medicines, diuretics, painkillers such as ibuprofen, and lithium.
