What is it used for?
Used to relieve stomach and intestinal cramps or spasms associated with gas, bloating and other digestive discomfort.
How does it work?
Dicyclomine relaxes the muscles of the intestine and reduces painful spasms. Dimethicone helps combine gas bubbles, making trapped gas easier to pass.
How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed or directed on the product label. Do not take more than recommended or use it for longer than advised.
Common side effects
Dry mouth, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea and constipation may occur. Dimethicone is generally well tolerated.
Precautions
Use only after medical advice if there is glaucoma, difficulty passing urine or prostate enlargement, intestinal blockage, severe ulcerative colitis, or myasthenia gravis. Dizziness or blurred vision may affect driving. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent abdominal pain, vomiting, swelling, or constipation.
