What is it used for?
Used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH), such as difficulty starting urination, weak or interrupted urine flow, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.

How does it work?
Silodosin relaxes the muscles around the prostate and bladder outlet to improve urine flow. Dutasteride lowers the hormone that contributes to prostate growth, helping reduce prostate size over time.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed. Swallow the medicine whole and do not crush or chew it. Take it consistently as directed, and do not stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Dizziness, reduced blood pressure on standing, blocked or runny nose, headache, reduced sex drive, erection problems, breast tenderness or enlargement, and changes in ejaculation.

Precautions
May cause dizziness or fainting, especially when standing up; rise slowly and avoid driving until its effects are known. Tell the doctor about kidney or liver problems, low blood pressure, cataract surgery, or use of other medicines for blood pressure, prostate problems, or erectile dysfunction. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle leaking capsules. This medicine is not intended for women or children.
