What is it used for?
Sertaconazole cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch and certain yeast infections of the skin.

How does it work?
It prevents fungi from making an essential part of their cell membrane, which stops their growth and helps clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer to the affected, clean and dry skin as directed by the doctor or pharmacist. Wash hands before and after use. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.

Common side effects
Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness, dryness or irritation at the application site may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to sertaconazole or similar antifungal medicines. Avoid applying to the eyes or inside the mouth. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling, rash or breathing difficulty occurs, or if the infection worsens or does not improve with treatment.
