What is it used for?
This syrup is used to relieve a wet or chesty cough with mucus. It helps loosen and clear phlegm from the airways and may be prescribed for cough associated with some respiratory conditions.

How does it work?
Levosalbutamol relaxes the muscles of the airways to help improve breathing. Ambroxol thins mucus, while guaifenesin helps loosen and clear phlegm.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as advised by the doctor or as directed on the label. Shake the bottle well before use and measure each dose with the provided measuring device. Do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach upset, headache, dizziness, tremor, nervousness or a fast heartbeat may occur.

Precautions
Use only on medical advice if there is heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or a history of seizures. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical advice if breathing difficulty worsens, the heartbeat becomes very fast or irregular, or the cough persists. Do not combine with other cough or cold medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.
