What is it used for?
This syrup is used for a phlegmy (productive) cough with thick mucus. Terbutaline may also help relieve wheezing or breathing difficulty caused by narrowed airways.

How does it work?
Terbutaline relaxes the airway muscles to help improve airflow. Ambroxol and guaifenesin help loosen and thin mucus so it can be coughed out; menthol may soothe throat irritation.

How to take/use it
Take only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. Shake the bottle well before use and measure the syrup with a proper measuring device. Do not take more than recommended. Avoid combining it with cough-suppressant medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Nausea, stomach discomfort, headache, shakiness or tremor, nervousness, and a fast or pounding heartbeat may occur.
