What is it used for?
This medicine is used to manage high cholesterol and high triglyceride levels, especially mixed lipid disorders, along with a healthy diet and lifestyle. It helps reduce the risk of complications related to abnormal blood fat levels.

How does it work?
Rosuvastatin reduces the liver’s production of cholesterol and helps remove LDL (“bad”) cholesterol from the blood. Fenofibrate mainly lowers triglycerides and can help increase HDL (“good”) cholesterol.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. Follow the recommended diet and attend scheduled cholesterol and blood tests.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and muscle aches may occur. Liver enzyme changes can also occur.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about liver or kidney disease, gallbladder problems, thyroid disorders, a history of muscle problems, or regular alcohol use. Seek medical help for unexplained or severe muscle pain, weakness, cramps, or dark-coloured urine. Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless specifically advised.
