What is it used for?
Used on the scalp to help treat pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) and support hair regrowth.

How does it work?
Minoxidil helps stimulate and prolong the hair-growth phase. Finasteride reduces the effect of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone involved in pattern hair loss.

How to take/use it
Apply to the scalp only, exactly as prescribed. Use on a clean, dry scalp and wash hands after application. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and broken or irritated skin. Do not swallow. Regular use may be needed to maintain results; follow the prescriber's instructions.

Common side effects
Scalp irritation, itching, dryness, redness or flaking; increased hair growth on the face or other unwanted areas. Headache or dizziness may occur. Finasteride may rarely cause reduced sexual desire or other sexual problems.

Precautions
For external use only. Do not use on a damaged or inflamed scalp unless advised by a clinician. Stop and seek medical advice for chest pain, fast heartbeat, fainting, severe dizziness or swelling. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use it or handle leaking solution because finasteride may harm a male fetus. Keep away from children and pets, and avoid sharing the product.
