What is it used for?
Used on the scalp to help treat pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) and support hair regrowth.

How does it work?
Minoxidil helps improve blood flow and prolongs the hair-growth phase. Finasteride reduces dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone linked to pattern hair loss.

How to take/use it
For external use on the scalp only. Apply exactly as prescribed or directed on the product label, usually to a clean, dry scalp. Avoid contact with the eyes, face and broken or irritated skin, and wash hands after application. Do not stop or change treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Scalp irritation, itching, dryness, redness or flaking; unwanted facial or body hair; headache or dizziness. Finasteride may rarely cause reduced sexual desire, erectile or ejaculation problems, breast tenderness, or mood changes.

Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy or if pregnancy is possible; finasteride can harm a developing male baby. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not handle leaking or spilled solution. Keep away from children and pets. Seek medical advice for chest pain, rapid heartbeat, fainting, severe dizziness, swelling, or persistent mood or sexual changes. Avoid applying to inflamed, infected or damaged scalp unless advised by a healthcare professional.
