What is it used for?
Used to help protect exposed skin from sunburn and harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation during sun exposure.
How does it work?
Sunscreen filters help absorb, reflect or scatter UV rays before they reach the skin. Vitamin C and niacinamide are included as skin-care ingredients.
How to take/use it
For external use only. Apply to exposed skin before sun exposure and reapply as directed on the product label, especially after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Use other sun-protection measures such as protective clothing and shade.
Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, stinging or itching may occur. Allergic reactions are uncommon.
Precautions
Avoid contact with the eyes and rinse with water if contact occurs. Test on a small area first, especially if the skin is sensitive. Stop use if significant irritation or an allergic reaction develops. Sunscreen does not provide complete protection from UV radiation.
