What is it used for?
Used to treat acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), often with related indigestion, bloating, nausea or a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Levosulpride helps improve movement of the stomach and food through the digestive tract.

How to take/use it
Take it only as prescribed. It is generally taken before food. Swallow the sustained-release tablet/capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhoea or constipation, dizziness and drowsiness. Levosulpride may also cause breast tenderness or menstrual changes due to increased prolactin.

Precautions
Use under medical supervision, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with a history of seizures, Parkinson’s disease, heart rhythm problems or hormone-sensitive conditions. Avoid driving or alcohol if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. Seek medical advice for unusual movements, severe diarrhoea, persistent abdominal symptoms or breast changes. Prolonged use should be reviewed by a doctor.
