What is it used for?
Used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), especially when associated with indigestion, nausea or vomiting.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps improve movement of the upper digestive tract and reduces nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the sustained-release capsule or tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, stomach pain or discomfort, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness and constipation may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, irregular heartbeat, liver problems or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone may affect heart rhythm, so inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially medicines that affect heart rhythm or interact with domperidone. Seek urgent medical help for palpitations, fainting or severe dizziness. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if prolonged treatment is needed.
