What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux, especially when these symptoms are associated with indigestion, bloating or slow stomach emptying.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Levosulpride helps improve the movement of food through the stomach and may reduce reflux-related symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the timing advised by the doctor, often before a meal.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, dizziness, fatigue or drowsiness. Levosulpride may sometimes cause breast tenderness or menstrual changes.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a history of movement disorders, or conditions affected by raised prolactin levels. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizzy or drowsy. Seek medical advice for persistent symptoms, black stools, vomiting blood, severe diarrhoea, or unusual involuntary movements.
