What is it used for?
Paracetamol is used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain, such as body aches, headache, toothache and muscle pain.
How does it work?
It reduces the production of chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever.
How to take/use it
Take it by mouth exactly as directed on the package or by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not take more than the recommended amount, and do not use it with other medicines containing paracetamol.
Common side effects
It is usually well tolerated. Nausea, vomiting or skin rash may occur.
Precautions
