What is it used for?
This prescription cream is mainly used to treat melasma and other dark patches or uneven skin pigmentation. It should be used only for the skin condition diagnosed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Hydroquinone reduces melanin production, tretinoin helps remove pigmented skin cells and improves skin renewal, and mometasone reduces inflammation and irritation.

How to take/use it
Apply a thin layer only to the affected areas, exactly as directed by the doctor. Avoid the eyes, lips, inside of the nose, broken skin and other sensitive areas. Wash hands after applying unless the hands are being treated. Use sunscreen and avoid unnecessary sun exposure during treatment.

Common side effects
Redness, burning, stinging, dryness, peeling, itching or irritation may occur. Increased sensitivity to sunlight is possible. Prolonged or improper use may cause skin thinning, acne-like spots or changes in skin colour.

Precautions
Use only under medical supervision and do not use for longer than prescribed, as it contains a steroid. Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically approved by a doctor. Stop and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or worsening skin changes occur. Do not apply to infected skin or cover the treated area with a tight dressing unless advised.
