What is it used for?
This combination is used to relieve neuropathic pain, such as burning, tingling, numbness or shooting pain caused by nerve damage. It may be prescribed for conditions such as diabetic nerve pain or nerve pain due to other causes.

How does it work?
Pregabalin and nortriptyline reduce the abnormal pain signals sent by damaged nerves. Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, supports normal nerve function.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, with or without food, and preferably at the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not stop it suddenly without medical advice, as the dose may need to be reduced gradually.

Common side effects
Dizziness, sleepiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, nausea, tiredness and weight gain may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery until the effects are known. Tell the doctor about kidney disease, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, heart problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek urgent medical help for facial or throat swelling, breathing difficulty, severe rash, extreme mood changes or thoughts of self-harm.
