What is it used for?
Paracetamol 650 mg is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever, including body aches, headache, toothache and period pain.
How does it work?
It works mainly in the brain to reduce the production of substances that cause pain and fever.
How to take/use it
Take it by mouth with water, exactly as directed on the label or by a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended amount or use it with other medicines containing paracetamol.
Common side effects
Side effects are uncommon when used correctly, but nausea, stomach discomfort or skin rash may occur.
Precautions
Tell a doctor before use if there is liver disease, regular alcohol use or an allergy to paracetamol. Avoid taking multiple paracetamol-containing products together. Seek urgent medical help if too much has been taken, even if there are no symptoms.
