What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of dry cough and associated cold or allergy symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How does it work?
Dextromethorphan reduces the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy-related symptoms such as a runny nose and sneezing.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Measure the syrup with an appropriate measuring device, and do not take more than recommended. Do not use it for a prolonged cough without medical advice.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea and stomach discomfort may occur.

Precautions
May cause drowsiness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines, or within 14 days of stopping them, unless advised by a healthcare professional. Check with a healthcare professional before use in children, older adults, pregnancy, breastfeeding, breathing problems or glaucoma. Seek medical advice for breathing difficulty, severe dizziness, or a cough lasting several days or accompanied by fever or excessive mucus.
