Peploc -D tab (20x10)Ranitidine 150 Mg + Domperidone 10 Mg by Zydus

What is it used for?
This combination is used for acidity, heartburn and acid reflux. It may also help relieve related indigestion, nausea or a feeling of fullness when delayed stomach emptying is involved.

How does it work?
Ranitidine reduces the production of stomach acid. Domperidone helps improve movement of the stomach and intestine and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the medicine with water and do not take more than the recommended amount. Do not continue it for longer than advised. If a dose is missed, follow the instructions provided by the doctor or pharmacist.

Common side effects
Headache, dry mouth, stomach cramps, diarrhoea, constipation or dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about heart rhythm problems, liver disease, kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, stomach or intestinal blockage, or gastrointestinal bleeding. Domperidone can rarely cause serious heart rhythm problems; seek urgent medical help for a fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting or severe dizziness. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, especially those that affect heart rhythm or interact with domperidone. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
