What is it used for?
Used to treat acidity, heartburn and acid reflux (GERD), especially when these symptoms are accompanied by nausea or vomiting.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the stomach and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, usually before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not use it for longer than advised without medical guidance.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach discomfort, dry mouth and dizziness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, an irregular heartbeat, liver or kidney problems, or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone may rarely cause serious heart-rhythm problems and can interact with some medicines. Seek medical advice for palpitations, fainting, severe or persistent diarrhoea, difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood or black stools.
