What is it used for?
Paracetamol 650 mg is used to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, body pain, toothache and muscle aches.
How does it work?
It reduces the production of certain chemicals in the brain that cause pain and fever.
How to take/use it
Take by mouth with water, with or without food, as directed by a doctor or according to the product label. Do not take more than recommended, and do not use it for longer than advised. Avoid taking other medicines that contain paracetamol at the same time.
Common side effects
Side effects are uncommon when used as directed. Nausea, stomach discomfort or skin rash may occur.
Precautions
Do not exceed the recommended amount, as too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage. Consult a doctor before use if there is liver disease, regular alcohol consumption, or use of other medicines containing paracetamol.
