What is it used for?
Used to relieve acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion-related symptoms such as fullness, bloating, nausea or discomfort when these are associated with slow stomach emptying or reflux. It should be used only when prescribed.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Levosulpride helps improve movement of the stomach and intestines, supporting the passage of food and reducing reflux-related symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, usually before a meal. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew or break the sustained-release form. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, stomach discomfort, dizziness, drowsiness or restlessness. Levosulpride may also cause breast tenderness, milk discharge or menstrual changes.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, heart-rhythm problems, intestinal blockage or bleeding, and any history of hormone-sensitive tumours. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizzy or drowsy. Seek medical advice for involuntary movements, severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood or black stools.
