What is it used for?
Used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), especially when these symptoms are associated with nausea, vomiting or delayed stomach emptying.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Domperidone helps the stomach empty more effectively and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water and do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, dry mouth or dizziness may occur.

Precautions
Use only under medical advice, especially for prolonged treatment. Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, liver disease, or a history of gastrointestinal blockage or bleeding. Domperidone may increase the risk of serious irregular heartbeats and can interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics, antifungals and heart-rhythm medicines. Seek medical help for fainting, fast or irregular heartbeat, vomiting blood or black stools.
