What is it used for?
Used to prevent and treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting or excessive fluid loss. It replaces lost water and essential salts.

How does it work?
It contains water, salts and glucose, which help the body absorb fluids and restore the body's fluid and electrolyte balance.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth as directed on the product label or by a healthcare professional. Sip slowly and frequently, especially after loose motions or vomiting. Do not dilute unless instructed. Do not use if the solution appears spoiled or the pack is damaged.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach bloating or discomfort may occur.

Precautions
Seek medical help for severe dehydration, persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, blood in the stools, confusion, extreme weakness, or inability to drink. Use medical advice if there is kidney disease, heart failure or another condition requiring fluid or salt restriction. This solution does not treat the underlying cause of diarrhoea.
