What is it used for?
This medicine is used for short-term relief of painful abdominal cramps and spasms, where pain is associated with tightening of the intestinal muscles. Use it only when prescribed, as abdominal pain can have many causes.

How does it work?
Diclofenac reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation. Dicyclomine relaxes the muscles of the intestine, helping to reduce cramping and spasms.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, preferably with food and a full glass of water to reduce stomach irritation. Swallow the tablet whole and do not take more or use it for longer than recommended. Avoid taking other diclofenac, ibuprofen or similar painkillers unless advised by a doctor.

Common side effects
Stomach pain or indigestion, nausea, heartburn, diarrhoea or constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, blurred vision and headache may occur.

Precautions
Avoid this medicine if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, severe kidney, liver or heart disease, or allergy or asthma triggered by aspirin or similar painkillers, unless specifically advised by a doctor. Tell the doctor about pregnancy, especially the last 3 months, breastfeeding, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or use of blood thinners. Avoid alcohol and driving if dizzy or experiencing blurred vision. Seek medical care for black stools, vomiting blood, severe allergic reactions, chest pain, or persistent or worsening abdominal pain.
