What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of pain and discomfort from mouth ulcers, sore gums and minor irritation inside the mouth.
How does it work?
Choline salicylate helps reduce pain and inflammation. Lignocaine is a local anaesthetic that temporarily numbs the painful area.
How to take/use it
For use inside the mouth only. Apply a small amount to the affected area as directed on the product label or by a dentist or doctor. Do not swallow large amounts, and wash hands after application.
Common side effects
Temporary numbness or altered sensation in the mouth, mild irritation or stinging at the application site, and changes in taste.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to salicylates, aspirin, lignocaine or other local anaesthetics. Avoid eating or drinking hot food and beverages while the mouth is numb. Use in children only if specifically advised by a doctor or dentist. Stop use and seek medical help if swelling, rash, breathing difficulty or other signs of an allergic reaction occur. Seek dental advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
