What is it used for?
This oral gel is generally used for bacterial gum and other mouth infections, such as gum inflammation, and to relieve pain at the affected area.

How does it work?
Chlorhexidine and metronidazole help reduce infection-causing bacteria. Lignocaine produces temporary local numbness to relieve pain.

How to take/use it
Use only on the affected mouth or gum area, exactly as directed by a dentist or the product label. Do not swallow the gel, and do not use more or for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Temporary numbness, mild burning or irritation, altered taste, and tooth or tongue staining may occur. Stop using it and seek medical help if signs of an allergic reaction develop.

Precautions
Avoid swallowing the gel or getting it in the eyes. Because lignocaine can numb the mouth, avoid hot food and drinks and take care not to bite the cheek or tongue until sensation returns. Do not use it if allergic to any ingredient. Consult a dentist or doctor before use in children, during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding.
