What is it used for?
Ondansetron is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting, including nausea and vomiting related to surgery or cancer treatment.

How to take/use it

Common side effects
Headache, constipation, dizziness, tiredness, and flushing may occur.
Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of heart rhythm problems, low potassium or magnesium levels, liver disease, or an allergy to ondansetron. Inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially medicines that affect heart rhythm or serotonin levels. Seek medical help for fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, severe allergic symptoms, or unusual agitation, sweating, fever, or muscle stiffness.
