What is it used for?
Amorolfine cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as athlete’s foot, ringworm and fungal infections in skin folds.
How does it work?
It stops fungi from making an essential part of their cell membrane, helping to kill the fungus and clear the infection.
How to take/use it
For use on the skin only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream, and use it exactly as directed on the pack or by a healthcare professional. Wash hands after applying, unless the hands are the treated area. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.
Common side effects
Mild skin irritation, redness, itching, burning or stinging may occur at the application site. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation or an allergic reaction develops.
Precautions
Do not use if allergic to amorolfine or any of its ingredients. Avoid applying to the eyes, mouth or broken skin. Seek medical advice if the infection worsens, spreads or does not improve. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should seek medical advice before use.
