What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat certain bacterial infections. It does not work against viral infections such as the common cold or flu. Use it only when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Cefixime stops bacteria from forming their protective cell wall. Ofloxacin prevents bacteria from making essential genetic material, helping stop their growth.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed, with water, and complete the prescribed course even if symptoms improve. The exact dose and duration depend on the type and severity of the infection. Do not self-medicate or share this medicine.

Common side effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, indigestion, headache, dizziness, or vomiting may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about allergies to penicillins, cephalosporins, ofloxacin, or other medicines. Seek medical help for severe or persistent diarrhoea, rash or breathing difficulty, tendon pain or swelling, numbness or tingling, severe dizziness, or unusual mood or nerve-related changes. Use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, in children, or with kidney problems only on medical advice. Avoid taking antacids or mineral supplements containing aluminium, magnesium, iron, or calcium close to the dose unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist.
