What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity and acid reflux symptoms such as heartburn, sour regurgitation and indigestion. It may also help when these symptoms are accompanied by nausea, bloating or a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps stomach contents move forward and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It is generally taken before food. Swallow the medicine whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not take an extra dose if one is missed without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, stomach pain or discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, dizziness and dry mouth may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, heart or liver disease, or any history of stomach or intestinal blockage or bleeding. Inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially medicines that can affect heart rhythm. Seek urgent medical help for fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, vomiting blood or black stools. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
