Composition:\
Lactulose 10 g.

Uses:\
Used to treat constipation by softening stools and making them easier to pass. It may also be prescribed to reduce high levels of ammonia in the blood in people with certain liver conditions.

How to Use:\
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the product label. Lactulose may be taken with or without food. Measure the prescribed dose accurately. It can be mixed with water, milk, or juice if needed. Drink adequate fluids unless your doctor has advised fluid restriction.

Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, galactosaemia, intestinal obstruction, or unexplained abdominal pain. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Excessive use may cause diarrhoea and dehydration or changes in electrolyte levels.

Possible Side Effects:\
Common side effects include gas, bloating, abdominal cramps, nausea, and diarrhoea. These effects may improve as your body adjusts to the medicine. Contact your doctor if severe or persistent diarrhoea or signs of dehydration occur.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:\
Lactulose can generally be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding when recommended. Consult your doctor before use.

Storage:\
Store at room temperature as directed on the product label, away from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

Important Safety Information:\
Lactulose may take 1–2 days to produce a bowel movement. Use it regularly as directed and maintain adequate fluid intake. Do not use laxatives continuously without medical advice. If constipation persists or is accompanied by severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or blood in the stool, consult your doctor.
