Composition:\
Ofloxacin 200 mg.
Uses:\
Used to treat certain bacterial infections, including infections of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues, and other infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
How to Use:\
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Swallow it whole with water. Take it at the same time each day and complete the prescribed course, even if you feel better. Avoid taking it at the same time as antacids or supplements containing aluminium, magnesium, iron, or zinc; maintain the interval recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions & Warnings:\
Tell your doctor if you have a history of tendon problems, seizures, heart rhythm problems, kidney disease, myasthenia gravis, or nerve disorders. Stop the medicine and seek medical advice if you develop tendon pain or swelling, numbness or tingling, severe weakness, or significant mood or neurological changes. Avoid unnecessary exposure to strong sunlight or UV light if you develop increased sensitivity.
Possible Side Effects:\
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness, and insomnia. Serious but uncommon effects may include tendon injury, nerve damage, severe diarrhoea, allergic reactions, or abnormal heart rhythm. Seek medical attention if severe or unusual symptoms occur.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:\
Ofloxacin is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically prescribed by a doctor. Consult your doctor before use.
Storage:\
Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.
Important Safety Information:\
Ofloxacin is an antibiotic and should be used only for bacterial infections when prescribed. Do not use it for viral infections such as the common cold or flu. Do not stop treatment early unless advised by your doctor. Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness or other effects that reduce alertness.
