What is it used for?
This product provides L-carnitine, vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) and folic acid. It is used as nutritional supplementation when these nutrients are inadequate or when supplementation is advised, including for supporting normal nerve and red blood cell function.

How does it work?
L-carnitine helps the body use fatty acids for energy. Vitamin B12 and folic acid support normal nerve function and the formation of healthy red blood cells.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed or directed on the product label. Do not take more than the recommended amount. If it causes stomach discomfort, taking it with food may help.

Common side effects
Nausea, stomach discomfort, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea or vomiting may occur. L-carnitine can occasionally cause a fish-like body odour.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about kidney disease or a history of seizures before use. Do not use it if allergic to any of its ingredients. Seek medical advice if it is being used for suspected vitamin deficiency, anaemia or nerve symptoms, as the underlying cause may need evaluation. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, use only on medical advice.
