What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of pain, inflammation and fever, such as body aches, muscle or joint pain, and other painful conditions.
How does it work?
Nimesulide reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever.
How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by a doctor. Do not take more than recommended or use it for longer than advised. Avoid taking it with other medicines containing paracetamol or another painkiller from the NSAID group.
Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, dizziness or headache.
Precautions
Avoid use or seek medical advice if there is liver disease, kidney disease, stomach ulcer or bleeding, or an allergy to painkillers. Avoid alcohol. Consult a doctor during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop the medicine and seek medical help for yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, severe skin reactions, vomiting blood or black stools.
